The right candidate will have previous sales/media buying experience, as well as a highly motivated, forward-thinking personality, reliable, organized and detail oriented. Here are some of the job duties:
- Prospecting (finding new media vendors from which to buy media)
- Media Buying (using marketing knowledge and sales skills to negotiate all aspects of media buys, including pricing and placements)
- Relationship Management (managing day-to-day business with media vendors to ensure marketing goals are including campaign status, reporting, troubleshooting and new business opportunities)
- Maintaining Records (updating and maintaining a personal pipeline)
Excellent oral and written communication skills, solid computer skills, time-management ability, interpersonal skills, and strong work ethic required. Candidates should be prepared to engage in heavy prospecting, establishing and managing relationships with online media vendors, as well as communicating with the marketing, sales, and the administrative team.
